Tiong Hin Company Tyre was established
by Mr. Tan Teng Eng. It first started out along
the stretch of Upper Paya Lebar Road, No. 32, as
a simple bike shop.
Back then, they were only dealing with normal bicycles,
tricycles, sewing machines and simple electrical
appliances. They were the dealers for the brands,
Raleigh and Phoneix, which were made in UK and China
respectively. These brands are considered the top
brands of their time. |

| The shop was shifted to its
current location, Block 108, Hougang Avenue 1, #01-1293,
S(530108) before handling down the business to Mr.
Tan Kiang Chen, son of Tan Teng Eng, in 1986.
Mr. Tan Kiang Chen, the current owner of the
shop, started working with his father since the
tender age of 13. Since then, He had developed
a keen interest in bikes where his experiences
and skills as a bike mechanic were nurtured. Mr.
Tan has over 30 years of expertise in bicycles
line as a result of his hard work and perseverance.

After the trip to the
states for a bike exhibition where he came
to know more about high end bikes and components,
Tong Hin was transformed to one which deals
in top notch brands.
Tiong Hin is regarded as one of the most
popular BMX bike shop in Singapore now.
We greatly appreciate it for all bikers
and riders who have been supporting us and
we will continue to strike for excellent
customer care service to all customers.
